Unhappy help me in backing up database in coppermine

i m running coppermine photo gallery in windows and my server is apache 1.3
and mysql database 4.0.23 i worked hard in setting up albums and categories in coperrmine and i added over 1700 wallpapers in coppermine photo gallery and it was working fine but today coperrmine photo gallery is giving error that
There was an error while processing a database query
and it has happened two times and my all hard work has wasted now i wanna know that how can i backup my database and how can i restore my backuped database.
plz help me as fastly as possbile.

Unhappy restoring database.

thanx for quick reply
i followed the link which u gave me and i backup my database in .zip
the name of backup database is test[1].sql.zip
but i have not found how can i restore my database using phpmyadmin
can u tell me how can i restore my database using phpmyadmin
plz tell me in details

Go ahead and open that 'test[1].sql.zip'
You should see the test.txt file in there. extract to anywhere you like.
Go to your phpMyAdmin.
chose the database for your Coppermine on the left side.
Click on the SQL tab on the right side.
Click on the Browse button.
Chose the 'test.txt' that you extracted ealier.
Make sure Compression is on Autodetect.
Click GO.

Thats it. Hope its all the steps and did not skip one.

what should i do
and can u tell me any site which gives full guide of running phpmyadmin and mysql 4.0.23

I'm not really sure what you meant by running phpmyadmin and mysql. But I found this site that have pretty much everything you need to know about running phpMyAdmin. Look for the 'Main documentation'. Hope that helps.
